Digital Loyalty Card for driving schools

A digital customer card for driving schools replaces the paper punch card with a pass in Apple or Google Wallet. Customers collect Stunden on every visit and redeem them for rewards — no app download and no sign-up.

How does a digital loyalty card for driving schools work?

A driving school is not a classic stamp program — no one collects 10 driving lessons to get the eleventh free. But the wallet card works here in a different role: as a progress tracker. This is how a driving school could use it — to show learners at any moment where they stand on the way to the practical test. 25 lessons for class B, theory passed, practice in progress.

In the wallet the learner does not see “Collect 25 stamps for a reward,” but “15 / 25 — ready for the test in about 10 lessons.” A progress display that makes the learning path transparent. The instructor can add a stamp after each driving lesson — the learner sees the update instantly on the lock screen.

The branding in the example is deliberately serious: slate black with an emerald-green accent. A card that looks “pro,” not like a loyalty toy. A driving school builds trust through it — the learner feels they are in a structured program, not a chaotic “session-by-session” model.

Push notifications are used deliberately here: “Theory test Thursday 9am, registration confirmed,” “Next driving lesson Tuesday 2pm, meet at the station,” “Your last 5 lessons scored over 90% — test-readiness in sight.” A direct channel to the learner, with no email newsletter and no separate scheduling tools.

For the driving school itself this is a major efficiency lever: instead of an Excel tracker, a whiteboard list, or a separate driving-school app, the card is the central status document. Every learner has one, every one is live, and they all live in the wallet.

For driving schools

Why exactly this configuration?

Progress instead of loyalty

The card does not track “collect stamps for a bonus” but “X of Y lessons to your test.” It works for any time- or hours-based service.

Theory + practice separated

Class B = 14 theory lessons + 12 mandatory practical lessons + test drives. The pass can show both tracks separately.

Appointment push from the wallet

Booking confirmation, reminder, meeting point — it all goes through the card. No extra booking tool, no SMS list.

A pro look without app development

The driving school gets the polished brand presence of a premium provider, without having to build its own driving-school app.

In everyday use

What does this look like day to day?

Where the wallet card makes the difference — not theory, but real-world situations.
  1. The first driving-lesson appointment

The learner arrives for the intro, scans the QR at the counter, and has the card in the wallet right away. Theory status is carried over automatically if it already exists.

  2. Theory passed

Push “Theory passed — you can ramp up the practical training.” The card updates automatically and the progress bar jumps forward.

  3. Test registration

The instructor sends a push “Practical test on 05/18/2026, 8:30am, meet at the main station.” The learner has every detail in the pass detail.

FAQ

What businesses ask most often.

Does this also work for class A or C?

Yes. The number of lessons and the branding are fully configurable. A class-A card can be built the same way, with its own logo and its own lesson count.

How it works

In three steps to the first stamp.

From the first scan to the redeemed stamp — the whole flow takes just a few seconds.

Step 1

Guest scans the QR code

At the counter, on the receipt or on a table tent: one scan and the stamp card lands right in their wallet. No app. No typing. No hassle.

Step 2

Card stays in the wallet

The card appears right in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — with logo, stamp count and QR code. It updates automatically after every visit.

Step 3

Staff stamps digitally

Staff scan the QR code in the guest's wallet. The stamp is added automatically and the transaction is saved.
